I am trying to check the editing of articles. I am using JCE as editor. But when I open an article it gives an error:Yes that is why it is important to create a backup of J4 before updating to J5. And it is important to instal that backup to a new folder/database so the files/database do not mix with previous attempts. That is where Akeeba is useful, it backs up the whole site in one installable file. When working on localhost the installation creates the database to the name you type in the field during install....
Before updating again to Joomla 5, I have to make the website work, right?
I am using Morph template and it seems it is not compatible.
It sounds complicated and a lot of work but not as much works as trying to marry the files to the correct database. Without making a backup and installing to a new folder/database it is all to easy to corrupt something. Then it's difficult to recover without starting from scratch.
500 jquery::ui not found.
So, I changed it to TinyMCE but still the same error.
