To start off with I have a new Joomla 5 installation, I am using child template of the Cassiopeia template and I have multiple regular labs extensions (although I do not believe that is relevant for this question) installed. I am trying to do an override of /templates/cassiopeia_thd_main/html/com_content/categories/default_items.php and I am providing the original code for that file below:
So the question I have is why do I get an error when I try to wrap the entire code from the opening IF to the ENDIF in a DIV so it looks like this:
The error I get is "syntax error, unexpected token "<", expecting end of file"
